"Hailing from Phoenix Arizona, Andrew Flores aka Jock Club has played music as a form of meditation for himself and his listeners since 2011. With releases on CoOp Presents, Classical Trax, Nous Disques, and Kudatah, Jock Club is no stranger to chopped up breaks, rough & ready sample-based drums. Early influences include reggae, hip hop, and punk rock, all ubiquitous in the budding Southern California music scene at the time. Everything changed in 2016 when Bruk made it's way into Jock Club's consciousness, prior to his in- volvement in Deep House & Garage. Growing into the focus of his meditations, Bruk may be the centerpiece for Jock Club's musical palette, though he can still be caught around Phoenix in dimly lit clubs playing all types of reggae, dance- hall, industrial new wave & jazz-funk.

After hearing Jock Clubs music in the dance via IG Culture and Lord Byron, par- ticularly Monday Nights with Marwan (which was re released on CoOp presents) it was one those tunes that just caused damage on the dance floor! His style and approach is something we appreciate, especially his Dancehall and sound system culture influence mixed with heavyweight Bruk!

Down With The Programme is a no holds barred, bass heavy Bruk tearout, it wont disappoint ! A banger for those big sound systems and basement parties alike. Kicking off with a rough and tough drum pattern with a hell of a kick and snare before a quick dub alarm warns us the bass is coming ! And it seriously does, it's as infectious and hypnotic as it is a slap in the face!

Cat's Cradle is somewhat softer to a degree but still maintains a rugged flavour, with its skippy Bruk drum pattern and smooth yet eerie pads moving about the octaves. Catch vibe and catch the beat!
